Lion Banner There are different ways to bless a church and at the same time incorporate the "ARTS" into the church setting. Debby Close demonstrated one way of doing such, by commissioning "Christian Artists" Jim and Nancy Martindale to design and construct a large "LION of JUDAH" Banner for a church gift. Debby looks on as Martindale and Charles Stout tie the banner to the display stand. Jim Martindale combs out the three- dimensional lion's mane to ready the banner for the church service. The banner is a three-dimensional lion design. It is five feet by seven feet in size. The art work now hangs in the front entry on the ceiling wall of Victory Life Center, Pittsburg, Kansas. Jim and Nancy speak a few words about the project before laying hands on the banner, along with Pastor Don Talent, to dedicate it unto the Lord and to present the Banner to VLC.
